"Prior to working with Jason, I had competed in two shows (one in 2010 and one in 2011).  I did not utilize a prep coach for either of these shows, rather I googled/researched contest preparation strategies online, and I put together a plan based on how other competitors prepped for their shows.  Looking back now, I realize I was all over the map.  Although in both of the two shows I came in lean and conditioned, there were significant elements missing from my physique.

In addition, the last couple weeks of prep drove me to the brink of insanity as I would read contradicting prep information online, and I would be confused as to what approach I should use (especially during peak week).  After the show in 2011, I decided it was time to hire a coach.  I wanted to take the guess work and stress out of my contest preparation.  A well known national level competitor referred me to Jason in the fall of 2011.  It took me a little while to get around to contacting him, but after finally doing so, he immediatly set himself apart from some of the other prep coaches that I had contacted.

Although I was not yet a client of Jason, his response time was incredibly fast.  He was very thorough in his responses to questions or concerns that I had with his services.  Other coaches that I contacted would not engage in any additional conversation unless a package was bought or a consultation was paid for.  Jason went above and beyond to make me feel confident that I was making an informed decision to hire him.

I started working with Jason in my offseason (fall 2012), in preparation for NPC Junior Nationals to be held in June.  Collectively we assessed my strengths and weaknesses and he put together a comprehensive program to bring up the areas that needed improvements.  This program not only included the nutritional strategy, but also included my cardio schedule and training routines.

During my first offseason working with Jason, I broke every single personal record lift.  I was stronger than I ever have been in my life.  Fast forward to Junior Nationals...as I look at my contest pictures and compare them to ones from the past, I can easily see that I have improved from head to toe.  All of my assessed weaknesses improved dramatically.  My shoulders came up, my back improved, my lats from the front came way up (this was a BIG weakness), and I came in much fuller than ever before.

I can honestly say that I am one super satisfied customer/client.  Some of the highlights of Jason's services include:  very fast response time, individual attention (I often felt like I was his only client), detailed answers to questions or concerns, and of course RESULTS!!  If you are considering hiring a prep coach, I strongly encourage you to consider Jason Theobald.  I could not be happier with my decision to hire him and I will use his services again in prepearation for the 2012 NPC Nationals in November.  "
